What's MPL? The Hungarian Paintball League (MPL) is a 3-man paintball contest series based on Millennium rules, consisting of 4 events per year. Our goal is to popularize the sport of paintball and to provide competition opportunity for teams from and around Hungary. We would like to set a standard for high quality paintballing in our country - for that we have summed all our several years of playing experience to make you feel a respected member of a professional event. MPL is a non-profit event - we always measure the necessity of each arising cost, to make the whole contest as cheap as possible and we set the registration fees accordingly - this series is about paintball and not about ripping off players and teams. That is why MPL is not directly or indirectly connected to any commercial organisations. About the organizers The idea of creating a series rose in the late summer of 2008. After several negotiations with field owners we managed to setup all the arrangements, terms and created all the necessary administration along with the series' rules and webpage. There are currently two divisions in MPL: DIV 1 - Amateur category The division is open, anyone can register. DIV 2 - Novice category This category has been created to provide competition opportunity for beginners, therefore the registering team and players mustn't have significant experience in speedball. To maintain fair, balanced and pleasurable games for everybody, we reserve the right to deny the registration of more advanced teams in this category.
